Semiconductor Society (India) is a registered society with registration number S14810 and is nearly 30 years old. At present it is a family of more than 750 members.

The main objective of the society is to provide interactive forum to the scientific community, in the field of semiconductor materials and devices, in the form of National / International conferences. The society has already organized number of such activities. The society also publishes a news letter (quarterly) covering the recent developments in the area along with the information regarding new events and members. It has several chapters all over India.
